  • Introduction

The Renewable Energy Transition Action Plan is a key outcome of Council’s Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan 2021-31 (‘the plan’), to be adopted in quarter 3, 2023, under the Council Action Plan 2022-23. The development of the plan also aligns with the Community Vision 2041.

Key areas that the plan lays the groundwork for are reducing costs of energy on business and impact on climate change, and supporting businesses to be strong, innovative, and sustainable. If you haven’t already, you can read more about the Draft Renewable Energy Transition Action Plan before you complete this survey.

Northern Grampians Shire Council have designed a survey to further develop our understanding surrounding the context of renewable energy transition for community members and businesses throughout our shire.

We appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey as it will help us to design a plan that works for you. The survey is split into two sections: A and B. Section B asks questions about you that are optional. You can submit your responses only to the questions in Section A if you would prefer.
